How do i clean a copper still

Some people use peroxide-based or strongly oxidizing brewing cleaners on their equipment, but I personally avoid using oxidizing cleaners unnecessarily on copper because they can accelerate oxidation of the copper surface. For my equipment, vinegar, warm water, regular rinsing, and an occasional deeper cleaning when the still actually needs it have worked well for years.
The biggest thing I’ve learned is not to overcomplicate it: keep your copper still rinsed, keep it dry between uses, and clean it based on what you’ve been running through it.
